Hours later Kelsey started having fits and despite being rushed to hospital died from MENINGITIS. Had these incompetent doctors acted correctly, Kelsey would be alive today. GPs Refuse To Visit Pensioners In Care Homes.Many GPs are refusing to visit pensioners who reside in care homes because they cannot be bothered. Instead they choose to make a diagnosis over the telephone. This is another example of how the elderly are being ignored. Woman Told She Had Breast Cancer After 17 Month Delay.A woman had to have “Radical Treatment” for a cancerous breast tumour more than 1 YEAR after Addenbrooke’s doctors missed it. This blunder was one of several serious mistakes highlighted in a new report. The woman had an ultrasound scan at Addenbrooke’s hospital after a lump was found but the results came back as benign - a non-cancerous tumour - and she was discharged. But 17 MONTHS LATER the lump had grown and was then diagnosed as breast cancer. The delay in diagnosis had resulted in more RADICAL TREATMENT. This was one of several serious incidents between October and December. Sadly this world renown hospital has FAILED in this area. Such failures do not breed confidence in the diagnostic ability of those working with scans for cancer.
